FASTING

Throughout communities the practice of collective meditation is recommended, to decrease the incidence of violence in that community. We recommend our active participants to involve themselves in the promotion, coordination, and implementation of this practice at once a month. 

KNOWLEDGE

It's important to continually exercise the gift given to us by our creators. Seek, discover, learn, create and teach this knowledge on a daily basis. The journey starts by understanding ourselves, where we came from, and our purpose collectively as humanity, and then discovering our own self material purpose on earth.

Why a New Moon or Full Moon? 

Depending on your internal body energy grid or level of comfort, your own body will guide you to when you need to practice your monthly meditation. It's important to set aside some time during the month to practice mindful meditation. Many people feel like a meditation during the New Moon is more personal and reflective to establish goals and new beginnings to a project or phase in your life. Others feel like a full moon meditation is a time to meditate as part of a community. Each person is different and depending on their meditation practice, the best time to do it would be during a new/full moon. 

BODY CARE

NEW MOON & FULL MOON MEDITATION 

We promote and embrace healthy Nutrition because we believe that our bodies are sacred. We support the consumption of food in moderation with very minimal consumption of animals or animal products and with intentional mindfulness to the origin of any of these products we consume; especially to ensure that the animals involved have been treated with care and respect during their lifetime. Active Participants in our philosophy cleanse their GI system at least once a month, this is done through herbs or foods that promote colon cleansing. The purpose cleansing is to help eliminate toxins that affect our body and brain activity. 


Fasting must be no longer than 3 days, for after that time it starts harming the metabolic and electrolyte balance of the body. Fasting should be utilized to quiet the body in order to meditate for a longer period of time, it can be utilized to advance your degree of mental reflection or focus.  When fasting all physical activities must be reduced or suspended, such as exercise. Lastly, fasting must never be associated with penitence or purification. 

The mass of the human body is made up of approximately 65% water. In the same way that the ocean is affected by the gravitational pull of the moon, the effects in the human body are present but many times not consciously noticeable to the person. The makeup of the unbounded "water" in our bodies, which is really the fluid and blood, are very similar to that of ocean water; thereby the effects may not be as strong as it is with the ocean, but it's present and they are unique to each individual. During the New/Full Moon, rest, relaxation, meditation is highly recommended. During this period, social and intellectual activities with others are highly recommended and should take place to provide for the physical and emotional support of each other in your community.
